From October 31 to November 2, 2022, My Andersson of Lund University (ULUND) visited Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University (ACU).
Being the first short-term visit of GEMSTONE, My Andersson's visit was focused on the transfer of knowledge and research capacity between ULUND and ACU.
This is what My Andersson had to say about her short-term visit:
For my visit, I expected to get to know and learn more about the knowledge and technical skills of research participants in GEMSTONE and what facilities, infrastructure and technologies are available at ACU to aid in devising a detailed list of the requirements necessary to implement our research. This was accomplished during my 3-days stay with a schedule allowing me to visit research facilities and meet and discuss mutual research interests with key research participants. This has allowed us to draft a detailed plan for our work going forward and plan for bilateral exchange of expertise and training.
