The GEMSTONE Project is excited to share a new video interview featuring Zeynep Kaya, a rising senior at Oberlin College in Ohio, U.S., who joined the research group this summer as an intern. Zeynep’s short but insightful video offers a personal perspective on what it’s like to be part of a cutting-edge neuroscience lab at Acibadem University (ACU).
In the interview, Zeynep introduces herself and reflects on her one-month internship experience under the supervision of Prof. Filiz Onat, GEMSTONE Principal Investigator. During her time with GEMSTONE, she observed a wide range of laboratory protocols. Beyond the lab, Zeynep attended the latest GEMSTONE dissemination event, where she gained valuable insights into ongoing research and explored broader aspects of scientific work.
