WP4 - Organizational capacity to support research
Work Package 4 focuses on improving the support capacity for research in Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University (ACU) and Lund University (ULUND). The objectives include mapping the available competencies and skills, identifying gaps and best practices, and offering training and mentoring opportunities. Tasks include mapping the staff composition and research support policies, conducting surveys with researchers, and implementing capacity-building activities based on the results of the mapping exercise.
ACU will lead the mapping exercise and surveys, while ULUND will lead the mentoring and short-term visits.

WP5 - Attractiveness, competitiveness, and visibility
In the Work Package 5, the focus is on improving the ability of researchers in scientific writing, communication, grant writing, and promoting research activities. The objectives include increasing the visibility of the GEMSTONE Project and partners in the global neuroscience community and highlighting the role and commitment of the universities involved.
Fondazione ICONS (ICONS) will lead the soft skills training for Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University (ACU) researchers, while ACU, supported by Lund University (ULUND) and ICONS, will lead the identification and analysis of funding opportunities. ACU will also lead the networking activities to promote its profile and establish new collaborations and partnerships.
